Wealth Is So Much More Than Just Making Money.
WIN IN WEALTH
Wealth Is So Much More Than Just Making Money.
Let’s be clear: Money isn’t the root of all evil.
The love of Money is.
Money is just a tool—a powerful one. It’s not the goal… but it can be a vehicle for impact, legacy, and blessing.
When I’m at my best, I’m using money to tip more than anyone else at the table. I’m giving to ministries and causes that matter to me. I’m creating experiences that draw my kids closer to each other—and closer to God.
And yet, most people have only been taught one thing about wealth: how to make it. But if you want to experience true wealth, you need to master all four dimensions:
⓵ MAKE IT
You need a vehicle to generate income and clarity on what that vehicle is. Are you an employee? A side hustler? A full-time entrepreneur? An investor? All four are valid—but the ownership level increases as you move from employee to investor.
🔑 Here’s the key: whatever path you’re on, be excellent.
If you’re an employee, bring so much value that you drive revenue, save the company money, and stand out.
If you’re starting a side hustle, start it now. That’s how I transitioned from youth pastor to entrepreneur.
If you’re building a business, set your revenue targets and know your numbers.
As Grant Cardone teaches: clarity around your target is essential.
⓶ MANAGE IT
Making money isn’t enough if you mismanage it. Stop trying to manage everything yourself—your taxes, your investments, your legal, your bookkeeping. That’s a full-time job (and one you’re probably not trained for).
We chose years ago to bring in someone who could manage all those pieces—someone who’s not commission-driven but protection-driven.
That one decision changed everything. Surround yourself with A-players who know how to steward and shield your wealth wisely.
⓷ MULTIPLY IT
Wealth begins when your passive income exceeds your lifestyle expenses.
Step one: Get clear on what your lifestyle costs you right now.
Step two: Know what you’re currently making passively.
Step three: Set a target to close the gap. And then pass it.
When your investments are working harder than you are…
When your money keeps multiplying even while you rest…
That’s real momentum.
The goal? Eventually, your passive income exceeds your active income. That’s when you start thinking like an investor, not just an earner.
⓸ MAKE IT MATTER
This is the one most people miss, but it’s the one that brings the most joy. Everyone’s shouting, “Let me teach you how to make millions!”
But what if the question was: How can I give millions?
Let that shift your mindset. Let it fuel your mission. My mentor, David Green, once told me: Find what breaks your heart — and fund it.
For me, it’s evangelism and ending sex trafficking. For you, it might be clean water, foster care, Bible translation, or pediatric cancer.
What’s the thing that breaks your heart? Go find it. And fund it. Because when you stop chasing money and start chasing impact, your motivation goes to another level.
I want you to be wealthy. But not just financially. I want you wealthy in wisdom, generosity, purpose, and peace.
So here’s your challenge: Pick one of these four areas: Make, Manage, Multiply, or Make It Matter, and take one step forward this week.
That’s how wealth becomes legacy.
Until next time, KEEP WINNING!
