At this year’s Wellspring Business Summit in Nashville, Don dropped a powerful truth:

Most entrepreneurs believe success comes first—then significance. First, make money. Later, make a difference.

But Don challenged that. He shared how, early on, he followed the same model—building businesses and giving a little here and there. Then he realized something: with 400 employees under his leadership, he was directing over a million hours of human effort every year. Why wait to do good when your company is already your greatest vehicle for impact?

That realization changed everything.

Don began asking himself, “Why give a small percentage when I can leverage every hour, every decision, every dollar to make a difference now?”

In this week’s content, I want to share with you that there is a massive lesson to be learned by all of us as we build our businesses and wealth.

The lesson?

We don’t have to choose…

We don’t have to choose between profit and purpose.

We don’t have to choose between growth and generosity.

We don’t have to choose between excellence and love. 

We can choose BOTH!

But it requires a different mindset—and disciplined execution. Don calls this “the power of AND.”
